NEW PACKAGING

MyWood will be the first pellet manufacturer in Slovakia to put a stretch hood packaging into operation in June 2020. "The stretch hood is welded at the top and pulled over the pallet under high tension," explains managing director Hans Comberg. This offers additional value for customers: On the one hand, pallets are protected from rain and dust from all sides (including from above!) and can be stored outdoors for several weeks without any problems. A perfect solution for customers and end users with limited covered storage space! On the other hand, the hood increases the stability of the pallet during transport.

"The customers love the new packaging," Hans Comberg is pleased. In addition to its extremely white and low-ash pellets, myWood sets new standards in packaging. Thus, customers receive a top-quality and visually appealing product.

EXPORT CHINA

myWood starts exporting sawn timber to China.

In the middle of the Corona crisis, myWood starts exporting sawn timber to China. A logical decision for sales manager Carl-Philipp Rettenmeier: “Due to the corona crisis, we have free capacities in drying and processing. The export business enables us to stabilize our sales and ensures that we have enough work for our employees. ”

NEW P-PELLET

New production pallet UPadvanced: Betono Mozaika invests in boards with wooden core and plastic coating from myWood

In 2018 Romas Venculks, managing director and Mantas Malinauskas, technical director of Betono Mozaika decided to invest in production pallets UPadvanced from myWood. After testing a larger number of pallets over several months on a Masa 9001 XL, Betono Mozaika decided to order UPadvanced pallets for 2 production lines (Hess RH 1500 MVA and Masa 9001 XL). Betono Mozaika was looking for pallets with a high flexural strength, a durable surface and ones that would perform well with our kind of curing systems.

The UPadvanced pallet is made with a wooden core and a plastic overlay. myWood started the development of this new product already more than 5 years ago and was able to get the patent for it in 2015. It was tested for more than three years by existing european customers of myWood on a lot of different concrete block machines before starting official sales in beginning of 2018.
